How to use the Areas of Study Database  

Filling out the order form
Fill out your complete name, address and the telephone number(s) where you can be reached if we need to discuss your selection items. Complete your list of concentration areas, along with the states you want included. Additional space has been provided to write any other considerations which might be helpful to us in making your selections. Remember, our database includes detailed information on each of the 4,000 programs listed.

Calculating the cost
There is a cost of $10.00 to perform the computer search for each concentration area selected, plus $3.00 for each state you select.

Example: If you select Substance Abuse Counseling and Family Counseling as your two concentration areas and you want us to search three states, the cost is calculated as follows:

Family Counseling: $10.00 for the computer search, plus $3.00 for each of the three states. The total cost for this search would be $19.00 ($10.00 for the computer search, plus $9.00 for the state selectors).

Substance Abuse Counseling search would be the same; therefore, the total cost for both searches would be $38.00.

What you receive
For each search requested (concentration area & state selector), you will receive a listing of up to twenty five schools that exactly match your search criteria. The actual number of schools will vary depending on the concentration areas and states selected. You will receive the name of the school, address, telephone number, contact person and a description of the program of study. If there are additional selections beyond the first twenty five, you will receive additional listings at a discounted price of $8.00 per search, plus $2.00 per state selected, if you request same.
